Create a Brochure for your Favorite State (In Class and Out of Class Work)
Kids research a state that interests them for specific information to create a single page Tri-Fold Brochure.
All information will be copied and pasted into textboxes in an Microsoft Word file. They will find specific images of the state flag, bird, tree, and other state symbols along with a map of the state. They will research the land-forms and economy of their self-chosen state. The students will demonstrate their creativity with the use of color, borders, and layout in their brochures.

Upcoming Tests
4th Grade Students will have a test in Microsoft Excel on the computer tentatively starting in early May depending on any changes to the schedule at Cornwall. This will be a three page (worksheet) test. There is a study guide or required Excel skills and vocabulary located under the 4th Grade menu \ Study Guides 4 \ Excel 2013 section.
PowerPoint TEST (Not Happening this year.)
Starting on _______ all the 4th graders will be tested on the parts of the PowerPoint 2013 window. A study guide was given to the kids the week of _____. Extra copies are available in the Computer Lab and also on this website on the Study Guides 4 page.
To further help the students in preparing for the test, I uploaded to the Study Guides page a study guide without answers so the children can really test their knowledge.
